The Great Room workspaces to be rebranded as Industrious
The action will link Industrious’ Asia Pacific (Apac) areas, formerly managing under The Great Room, into its international network, the firm said in a June 17 release.
Laborious strategies to expand its Apac profile by greater than 50% over the following year, including the opening of three brand-new places in Singapore this year. The pipeline belongs to a wider worldwide expansion, with the firm intending to open up over 60 new places worldwide in 2026.
The Great Room also currently operates 2 areas in Sydney, Australia; 2 in Bangkok, Thailand; and just one in Hong Kong.
” Creating a single global brand links our team and members around the core values that have always specified us: costs friendliness, attractive layout, and a true sense of belonging,” includes Gentry Long, head of state of Industrious.
” At the core, The Great Room and Industrious share the same idea that work need to feel human,” says Su Anne Mi, managing supervisor for Industrious Apac and co-founder of The Great Room. “That approach is what specified The Great Room throughout Apac, and it continues under the Industrious brand name.”
Real estate under hospitality-led workplace dealer The Great Room– spanning Singapore, Hong Kong, Bangkok and Sydney– will run under the Industrious company, effective July 1.
The Great Room presently operates 7 areas in Singapore, including workspaces at One George Road in the CBD, Ngee Ann City on Orchard Road, and Raffles Arcade on North Bridge Road.
The three new places slated to start in the city-state this year are at Keppel South Central on Hoe Chiang Roadway, Shaw Tower on Beach Roadway, and Stamford Place and Stamford Road.
The rebrand comes four years after US-headquartered Industrious– currently a unit of CBRE– acquired homegrown The Great Room in May 2022. CBRE acquired full control of Industrious in January 2025.
